    • That’s right Microsoft Defender doesn’t like it & I had to hit Restore & I trust this site for clean files.

  6. Good morning and happy Tuesday world! It’s 9.45 am here and I’m still trying to wake up. Sunday we moved 1 hour ahead and I’m still suffering for it. I hate it; it’s not so easy for me. And in addition cold is back, -2C this morning when I got up!!!!

    Ok now I have a question…I dlded this game a little while ago & started playing & I swear that I’ve played it before & I think that it might come under the name “The Others” which was released in 2014 on here…please correct me if I’m wrong but I’ll continue to play it none the less ?

    • As far as I am aware Liz this one was the first one Brightstone Mysteries Paranormal Hotel but I could be wrong

    • It’s the same game as The Others released by Paprikari in 2014 but the graphics seem to have been updated. The interface is definately different. I haven’t played them through to compare what other changes there could be.

    Yes, as Liz already said, “The Others” (2014) same game, compared the videos. Maybe a remake indeed. Anyways, downloading now, will play it again. I like creepy stuff, SiFi and “otherworldly” things, lol. On top of that, older games are often better than the “let’s release them fast” games which are often the same things over and over. Just MHO.

  10. hello all owls! well i’ve tried this game four times now and it keeps crashing and sending me back to the start. i can’t seem to fix it. but it was enjoyable while i could.

    • Hi Missy I had the same problem of it throwing me back to desktop a few times but as long as you save your progress often it will go from that point again.

    • No virus Chr it is the AV that is reading it as a false positive Microsoft Defender is notorious for it make an exception for the exe file or turn off defender and or any other AV program you are running while installing and probably while you are playing this game

  14. Good morning everyone… I managed to complete this game & yes it’s a remake as I remember the story quite well. I had the problem though of it throwing me back to desktop at certain points & after scaring myself too often with the rat I finally twigged that to progress you have to save & exit often & return, it only takes you back to the start screen so if by chance you forget it will only go back to your last save that you did.
    The map didn’t show tasks available but you could transport so I relied on the Hint to get me around…I did love the old HO’s even if some items were a bit confusing ? puzzles were good & I thank god for the Skip button on the puzzles that you have to turn all colours/items the same lol
    I enjoyed this game & the message they send to all of us…thank you to the devs & all involved ?

  15. I still have this game from years ago and love it 🙂 Just wondering, is it exactly the same? or have they made some changes?

    • I don’t think that it’s strayed too far from the original game except to upgrade the graphics maybe & add a Transportable map. It seems that it’s made for different platforms now like Nintendo Switch etc

  16. The game keeps going to the desktop and I have to be recording it continuously, please check it because something is wrong, thanks. Oh and it is not a problem of my laptop in case it is the answer that you thought to give.

  17. Crashing back to desktop, crash, crash, 15 second later crash. I give up and wait for a stable version. I have continuous crash at garden, where is bees and roses and some branches. Never pass over these because next is absolute sure for crashing.

  18. Decent game on the surface, and I’d like to play it to the finish, but I’m giving up with all the crashes. Ridiculously buggy. I hope an updated version will be posted that fixes this problem.

  19. Hi, are you aware that there could be a bug with the ps5 version of the game? I have tried to play twice and the game crashes at about the same point in the story.
    When you gain access to the actress’s room, first time I picked up the axe but it didn’t go into the inventory. Second time I didn’t pick up the axe but I went to the scene with the dinosaurs and the hidden object game didn’t end.
    With both cases I exited the game and reloaded and I was met by a black screen with floating ‘dust and for a short time it said at the top of the screen.
