      • Your anti-bodies can already be gone (if you had the virus) and they don’t know if you are protected when they are, hopefuly the T-cells, another defence system in the body can help. It’s not all that simple, sadly enough. You can be negative today and positive tomorrow with the virus without knowing, where, when and who. So I say stay careful, nothing is 100% reliable.
        Staff of an hospital here has been monitored since the beginning, some had the virus and were a bit sick, no anti-bodies found.

    Hello from Sweden, I may or may not had the C-flu, the antibody testing not starting until late autumn.

    So still have to respect safety rules when visiting my elderly mother, sigh.

    • Don’t worry Bubbis, I suppose you refer to the message I sent to Frank. I think a simple “hello” once in a while means we are still here.
      I made antibody test last Tuesday and I’m negative which means I never got in touch with the beast.
      You keep taking care and stay safe.

  13. Thanks as always ASG for a hidden object game to enjoy. I finished the download and the upload for this game, and it finished without a hitch. I’m trying a third time on Family Mysteries 3, and see if I can get it to upload this time. FINGERS CROSSED. ?

    And a happy Saturday to all. Typical July weather here: HOT and HUMID. ??

    My brother and family were supposed to visit us to but we have postponed until next weekend as we are supposed to have tropical storm Fay come through here today.

    I have 3 ac’s running and all of the ceiling fans and it is still too hot. Hubby did pick a good week for vacation I guess LOL

    We can only walk Bru after sundown around 8 or 8:30 at night.

    Neighbor next door sent photo of a big bear that was in her yard and our last night about 8:40. ?

    Glad we didn’t run into him.

        I think he will enjoy the slower pace of life in Maine and wait until he sees the beautiful glory of autumn with the blue skies and brilliant foliage.

        • Hey Di, my brother has been living in the US permanently now for the past 8 years he has done a lot of travelling over the years a lot within the US and around the world, he remarried for the second time last September. I don’t get to see him much but we stay in touch via email and facebook

  18. How to breathe new life into Hidden Object Games:

    1. Pick a character: Newspaper reporter, Police/Private detective, Researcher, etc… some HOG’s allow you to pick your gender, the character option lets you choose your profession*. (ex. Bumm Beelbee, female reporter for the Global Tabloid)
    2. Each character has a different ending: The reporter keeps her job, the researcher has another chapter for her book, the detective solves the case… or does he? Which leads into the bonus chapter.
    3. Different text options based on which character you use. (ex.- When playing as the detective, ingame characters can redirect you to other characters ‘My lawyer can answer any questions you have.’)
    Its not that hard to program some new text into the game, or draw some new characters. Different characters can extend the life of a game by replaying it and seeing all the different text options and endings.
    * Even though this is done in-game for a lot of HOG’s, you do not have a choice in what your characters job is, you get one job, and thats it for the entire game.

Hello my dear friends, had a bad start to my day we had a car accident while on my way to an appointment, so, here I was stopped behind a car which was stopped at traffic lights then WHOOMPA!!!! hit in the rear end by another car and pushed us into the car in front of us, the car that hit us by the way does not have any car insurance, she was carted off in an ambulance with supposedly whiplash, my hubby and I are ok with no injuries but the police by law had to do a breath test to make sure I had not been drinking any alcohol and got the all clear. The car that hit us I think will be a write-off and ours could be too as it had to be towed but hoping it just panel damage and can be fixed. My bonnet is pretty bent out of shape and my rear end of the car didn’t fare much better. The main thing is we were not injured it could have been a lot worse, Our car is an SUV so much bigger than the one that hit us plus we had an extra 80Kg of duck feed in our boot and my foot on the brakes so that will also give you an idea of how fast the car that hit us was moving in a 60k speed zone, I have no idea what she was looking at as she said she didnt see the car or my brake lights and I believe she was going faster than the 60k .

    • Jackie, so sorry to read your message?. I can imagine the shock you both had and the fear to have been hurted. I’m glad nothing serious happened to you and that’s the most important thing. Just a question: isn’t car insurance mandatory in Australia? Here in Italy you risk jail if you don’t have one and you cause such a serious accident.
      I send you a big hug if it can help to relax a bit. ?????

      • Hi Elena no insurance is not mandatory here but I believe it should be, the one thing that stands in our favor is that our insurance will cover all costs of damage to our car then they will have to chase the driver that hit us for the money. Same for the driver that we were pushed into her insurance will cover her costs then chase the driver that pushed us into her so at the end the driver that caused the accident will be the one that pays for all her own damage to her car as well, I estimate a big guess just panel damage on my car to be 7 to 8000.00 dollars plus more then her car which I am guess will be a write off so she will be up for a lot of money, had she been insured she would not have those costs as her insurance would have that covered but no insurance it comes out of her own pocket if they can catch her, sadly some people that have no insurance can be hard to pin down.

    • Hi Jackie, that must have given you both a big scare, so glad you both are OK my friend. She didn’t see your lights or the car…too many times its looking at their cell phone that causes an accident, not saying that happened though. Hopefuly your insurance will take care of it. Most important is that you are both OK.

    • No insurance means paying.
      No insurance means a hefty fine in the Netherlands … but you don’t get along with that.
      Besides, from any damage to the car you usually don’t get better and neither does the car.
      Recently an acquaintance of mine also had an accident, little damage to be seen, a small kink appeared to be in the mullion and was declared a loss even though he was 3 years old.
      You may then squeeze your hands so that you are all right.
      And she didn’t see you ….. if I could give everyone a ticket while they are calling or whats app, I will never have to work again.
      That will be the cause because how expensive or dangerous it is, in Holland they say …in Dutch…ik heb er schijt aan… I am sorry and I ignore the rules ….

      • Hi Dick they don’t get a fine here as it is not compulsory to have car insurance but it should be in my opinion, i believe she maybe charged with some driving offence but which one I don’t know. I have to get a copy of the police report today and see what that says.either way she is going to be up for a lot of money to cover costs of damage to all 3 cars including hers. it’s just a bit inconvenient not having my car it’s being assessed at the panel shop since lunch time yesterday, so fingers crossed they can repair. our insurance company may write it off which will mean they pay us out and we get to buy another car

    • I’m just glad that everyone is OK..shame about the Insurance though. Is she a young driver if she is under 21/25 some companies won’t insure with full comprehensive & they only have CTP.
      No excuse though for not seeing you as you were stopped at a red light so sad to say she was either away with the fairies, obviously speeding or using the mobile. Hope it gets sorted for you Jackie so take care sweets & hopefully today will be a better day for you ?????

      • Thanks Liz I think the only thing she had was CTP which is in with car rego and will only cover 3rd party injuries not car damage outside of CTP she had nothing. She would have been at a guess maybe mid to late 40s maybe early 50s she had her daughter with her and she was around maybe early 20s. who knows what she was looking at obviously not what was going on in front of her and I believe she was speeding as hit us with a hell of a thud

    • Just dropped in and saw this about your accident! I am so sorry but relieved that you were not injured or killed.
      I have a phobia about auto accidents as that was how my dad died 44 years ago.

      I was involved in a similar accident some years ago. While stopped at a red light a Volkswagon Beetle driven by an old lady slammed into the back of me pushing my Camry into the car in front. The old lady actually tried to blame me but fortunately the driver of the car I hit gave a statement to the police that it wasn’t my fault.

      I would venture a guess that the woman that hit you was preoccupied with her cell phone or looking at all of those screens that are in the new cars.

      • Thanks Di we are fine but I can’t say the same for the driver that hit us, It appears she has gone underground and wont respond to phone calls from me or my husband or our insurance company so that tells me she has no insurance. any way 2 days later and we are coping ok still with out our car so have no idea how long that will be so am having to rely on my mum who is 86 and another friend to get around hopefully it will be very soon

        • Oh she definitely has no insurance, what a b&^th. Can’t stand people like that. Insurance is not required here in New Hampshire unless you are making car payments then the lender does make it mandatory to have at least basic coverage.
          Our cars are all old and paid for (and I do mean old LOL Hubby is a classic car collector and loves to do the mechanical and body work on them too) but we carry full insurance

          Are you sure you are not hurt? Sometimes an injury doesn’t show up right away.
          My mom and I were in an accident almost 50 years ago, we were hit broadside by a woman who ran a red light. The side that was hit was the drivers door. My mom’s left shoulder and neck were injured but she really didn’t notice at the time. To this day the old injury will flare up.
