  5. If a game is stopped from installing on my computer, I usually go to Windows defender & restore from quarantine & all is good. But when it doesn’t use your install box, and I have to go to the application file, it will quarantine each time because it installs again each time. What else can I do to get the game to install & run?

    • Hi Hunny the only thing I have found that works is to turn off my Antivirus and windows defender to install the issue is that most A/V see the crack as a virus and give a false positive. I have no trouble turning my A/V off to install a game

    • Indeed a false positive Hunny.
      Eset internet security and antivirus I am using does not indicate a virus.
      You probably have a free virus scanner from Avira or AVG, they are very nervous scanners and see more viruses than any other, but that is my opinion.
      In a manner of speaking flying that already tilts when you have to let a wind …. LOL

    • Hi Hunny. When the startfile get quarantined you may make an exception for the folder it restores to, In rare cases the install.exe get quarantined, then you may want to make a more thorough virus / malware check on it.

    • Hi Elena, I just checked and my copy has the exe file try downloading again it may also be your A/V has snatched the file thinking it was a virus so check your quarantine vault to see if it is there, also if your A/V has snatched the file you might want to turn off your A/V to play or unpack to another folder, I hope this helps

        • You were right …the exe file was in quarantine. I cleaned everything and the game is playing. This happens quite often when I can’t d/l through ASG. Thanks again Jackie.
