An American provincial town has seen better days. Now it slowly withers away, shrouded in fog and surrounded by endless fields. Time feels frozen, and it seems nothing can awaken life in Riverwood.
But one day, a group of teenagers discovers a strange, unmarked VHS tape. Driven by curiosity, they decide to watch it, which sets off a chain of terrifying events. The tape seeps into their minds, turning their deepest fears into reality.
You need to uncover the origin of the cassette and escape the nightmare before it’s too late.
Try to help the characters survive — or lead them to ruin. The story will go on either way, but the ending may be hopeful… or not. It all depends on your choices.
You can also influence the relationships between characters by making moral choices.
