The Ogre King is a 3D roguelike action RPG that blends fast-paced combat with emotional storytelling.
Developed primarily by a solo creator with the help of shared resources, collaborations, and AI tools,
the game focuses not on scale, but on delivering a compact and immersive experience.
Between battles, storybook-style cutscenes reveal fragments of Grom’s past and
the hidden truth behind the fallen kingdom.
In addition to combat, certain chapters also include a light puzzle–escape stage that offers
a brief change of pace and challenges players in a different way.
Each chapter consists of three combat stages and one boss encounter,
forming a short yet complete roguelike loop. Collect weapons and armor, craft potions,
and unlock abilities as you grow stronger through each challenge.
At certain points in the journey,
players may encounter unexpected trials that reveal new aspects of the world and its mysteries.
Even after death, your experience and learned abilities persist —
every run brings you closer to mastery and understanding.
