    I’ve only just turned my pc back on as where I live we have already had one big thunder storm rattle on through & by the looks of it there could be more in the making so I’ll just grab this game real quick lol

      • I’ve been through a devastating flood in 2013 where I live so Dick I can empathize with what is happening in other parts of Qld & NSW, Mother Nature at it’s worst I’m afraid.

  15. GrandMA Studios is a Ukrainian company. Friendly Fox is also from the Ukraine. Domini and Elephant are from Russia. So given recent events there could be a disruption of HOG games but it could take a month or more to show.

    • Good to know! Thank you. Perhaps Domini & Elephant need to be boycotted for a while from being purchased by those who may use sites like Big Fish. I’ll just put the publishing info out there, like you did, & let people make up their own minds. Prayers for the Ukraine! (And for those Russians who wanted no part of this).

      • From what I understand, Big Fish gets the games from these companies and distributes them. So if Big Fish holds off dealing with Domini and Elephant the games may not be available, at least in English.

        • Sorry but I don’t agree with you and Hunny. The companies you are mentioning are made of human beings who work to live. It doesn’t matter where they are from; each country has good and bad humans but we don’t know what they are so we cannot decide their future. What we all want in this world is PEACE and, in my opinion, boycott private activities is not not a good way to get it. It’s just my personal opinion with no intention to offend anybody.

          • I kind of agree with you Elena.
            If we, anywhere in the world, for this is not the only country where war, death and destruction are sown, would agree to boycott what is happening, it would be a whole different world.
            And if that madman gets cornered in Russia and pushes the wrong button, we can shake it.
            These are and will still be strange times…

          • I’m not saying the game companies should be boycotted, I’m saying they may be boycotted. As it is, GrandMA has stopped releasing games for the time being.

    • Hi Debra. I didn’t install this game yet. Maybe you are missing the Openall32 from your pc. maybe the developer sent that file with the game. Take a look in the game folder. You can always install that file on to your pc from here….

      Safe link so you have this file as in always when needed. Takes only a few seconds. I got this file from this link many years ago.

    well most of the water drained off but unfortunately we have had more rain so my backyard is a swamp again, and they say we are going to get more over the next week we have had 27 inches just since last Tuesday week, I know we need rain but this is just a little too much.     • Hey Jackie we’re ok up here so far..a bit water logged but no flooding that I’m aware of. The storms that ripped through last evening were frightening (at least to me) but didn’t linger for too long thank heavens & we have clear skies again today. Let’s hope it stays clear down your way so that the clean up can continue without anymore heartache for those already suffering ?

  20. The app says OpenAL32.dll is missing. I have tried reinstalling with no luck. Any suggestions?

    • Hi Donald to rectify your problem install the game as you would normally once installed open the game folder a click on oalinst.exe it will start an install for the file you are missing let it install and then you should be able to play the game. Hope this helps

  24. Hello everyone, I am finally able to get back here to visit with my owl friends.
    I had to change to the Brave browser because Firefox is blocking this site even though I disabled all adblockers, Ghostery and NoScript.
    Malwarebytes is still popping up a warning but so far the Brave browser is working.

    • Take comfort Cali, I don’t know what’s going on but I couldn’t access this site yesterday because I would have activated adblocker, not so.
      Had no problems today so you are not alone.

    • It does work follow these instructions: To rectify your problem install the game as you would normally once installed open the game folder a click on oalinst.exe it will start an install for the file you are missing let it install and then you should be able to play the game. Hope this helps

    • It does work …if you are having the same problem as other players have experienced concerning a missing OpenAL 32 dll…after installing the game look in your C:/drive for the Program Files (x86) open that & you will find the game folder Whispered Secrets..open that to see the Oalinst application..double click & proceed with the installer, everything should be able to work then ?

  28. Good afternoon everyone, wishing you all a relaxing Sunday????? I’m so looking forward to Winter as it’s very hot & muggy weather at the moment where I live. With so many bad things happening on the news I’d thought I’d watch the Paralympics on the TV app & WOW these men & women are awesome ?. I tried snow skiing once when I was younger & my instructor showed me how to “snow plough” unfortunately my legs didn’t seem to be getting the message no matter how hard I tried LOL??

    • I can’t ski at all. The only winter sports for me is making a snowman and throw snowballs but I assume that’s not a discipline at the Olympics? ?lol!

      • You and me both Ingrid and I originally come from a colder climate than where I live now. Even in the colder climate we didn’t get snow only on the mountains, visited there a couple times just to say I saw snow but no skiing just some snowball throwing. I much prefer the warmer climate.

        • I miss our regular Winters in Flandres, I love snow, can’t help it, lol! I love the sun but a warmer climate is wasted on me. Anyway, the weather never gets boring here, we can have some of everything. From schorching hot to bitter cold. Stay well Jackie?

  29. For some reason when i try to run this game is tells me that the OpeanAL32.dll file is missing and will not run it. it said to try and reinstall and i have and i still get the same error message. Any one know how to fix this problem. Oh yeah i am running windows 11

    • Hi Margaret, the solution is already been posted here, scroll through the comments. Install the game, then open the game file, in there you will see Oalinst, double click and let it install. The game should run then.

  31. Hi, I’m not able to open the game. I get a message “The code execution cannot proceed because OpenAL32.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem. Can someone please tell me what to do or do I need to download again. Thanks

    • Read the comments below Alexa, you must look in the installed dir and see for oalinst.exe and double click it, problem is solved after install.
