    I had some good news today regarding my eldest daughters health..no brain tumour or MS her Neurologist says but she has to have further tests done yet. We all feel that a certain amount of stress has shifted away for the time being & we’ll keep thinking positive thoughts ?

    I’m going to cycle a long way with Aafke through the woods, the weather has been nice for a few days now so we have to take advantage of it.

  20. Sigh… all those nice new games here but I have really no luck these days.
    Every time I download anything a DLL is missing… even re-downloading gets the same result…
    And same with different sources.

    • Hi Frauke..it could be different things that are causing this to happen. Check that you have all the newest PC Updates & Drivers…check that your Anti-V isn’t interfering in the download process as you don’t say what DLL is missing.     • If it happens all the time, everywhere, then somethig is missing on your pc, as Liz said…what DLL is missing? Which version of windows?

      • It’s not every game but a lot… Recently it’s always the lib_game.DLL which is reported missing.It’s right next to the install.exe in the downloaded folder in 7-zip, though.
        I former months every now and then the base.DLL was reported missing but not at all often…

        Normally when I open the folder in 7-zip, there’s only the install-exe.

        Only when I open the folder and see quite some single DLL.files, some read.me’s, some more folders plus the install.exe, I already know, the install won’t be possible.
        Re-download doesn’t work at all.

        My system is Win7 Ultimate 64Bit. It’s otherwise working fine and smooth.

        • Maybe update 7-zip or use another one, I use winrar. Not sure but I think W7 don’t get updates anymore? Sooner or later that can cause problems too regarding games while the system itself runs well. I had that problem with XP in the past, system runs well but I started to have problems with games.
