If anyone can help out, I keep running into the same issue. The game will open, but not run. The screen expands like the game is going to play, and then quickly turns into a smaller black square that completely freezes that area of the screen. Sometimes the whole screen goes total black, and the entire computer freezes. I’ve tried everything I can think of, switching compatibility modes; switching on and off the high scaling DPI override; switching the auto full screen on and off. If others using a Windows 10 system have the same problem, it might be that it won’t run on there no matter what. If not then I’m not sure what the cause is and how to solve it.

Can confirm it myself now, unfortunately it’s a Windows 10 compatibility issue. I ran it on my old Windows 7 laptop and it worked without any problem.
