    • I would suggest you to try the methods below and check if it helps.

      Method 1: Uninstall Microsoft visual C++

      Try uninstalling and re-installing the latest version of Microsoft visual C++ and check if the issue persists.

      1. Press Windows key + R.

      2. Type appwiz.cpl and press enter.

      3. Locate Microsoft visual C++ and uninstall it.

      Method 2: Run Directx9 from root folder

      Normally Directx9 executables are included in the setup file of most programs. I would suggest you to check if you are able to locate the DirectX9 from the root folder of the setup file of the program you have mentioned and try to execute it.

      Method 3: Compatibility mode

      Install the program in compatibility mode by following the steps below and check again.

      1. Right-click on the setup file of the program and select “Properties”.

      2. Select “Compatibility” Tab.

      3. Place a check mark next to “Run this program in Compatibility mode” and select Windows 8 from the drop down list.

      4. Let the program install and then check the functionality

    • Yes! It crashes at one specific scene every friggin time. I don’t know what to do to bypass it or fix it.

      • Same thing with me, after I unlock that door and pull the lever down it crashes.

        • Yes! That’s the same scene in my case as well. Reach out to open and pull the lever, then crash. I cannot get past this no matter what I try.

  23. Good morning everyone ????….I see some people are still having issues with running this game..I can tell you that I have played the Main & Bonus games without any problems as all, so I say thank you to the Devs & ASG as it was a good game ?. Win 10 64bit..Winrar 6.11 UptoBox

    For those that are experiencing crashing problems..make sure your graphics drivers are updated & make sure there are no programs running in the background.
    Install the latest Visual c++ & WinRar..maybe lower screen resolution settings or try Compatibility Mode.
    Creating a new profile other than the one given might help as well.

  27. For the crash that everyone, including myself, are experiencing, I think I figured out a “work-around.”

    I restarted the game, and when I got to the tomb part, this is the order of things I did:

    In the tomb, use the flashlight and pick up blow-torch from the top of the generator, read the notebook and obtain the wrench gear, defrost the frozen body’s hand, pick up the keys next to the frozen body, open locked door and flip the light switch. Do NOT pick up clamps until after you open the locked door and flip the light switch.

    I’m not sure if this will work for everyone, but I was able to avoid the game crashing and also get the light to go on. I don’t know if you even have to pick up the blow-torch/read notebook/defrost hand, but this is the order I did it in, and was able to get around the game crash.

    If someone wants to try only getting the keys, unlocking the door, and flipping the switch, without doing anything else let us know if that works as the only steps needed to get past the crash.

    If it works, please respond to this with what steps you did, so everyone else can try it too.

      It is indeed a sequence issue. I restarted the game, new profile and only picked up the keys, used them at the door and switched on the lights before doing anything else. It worked.
