  4. Hi all! Is anyone having trouble opening this one after download. I have extracted and nothing happens. Normally the little permission window comes up but not this time.

    • Just dlded with UptoBox Sabrina…extracted to my game folder with WinRar 6.21
      right clicked game exe & ran as Administrator & played 2 levels of the game without issue so far. Anti-V could be the problem as I have full protection running with WD & all it did was block any changes without taking the game.

        • You have opened the file folder & the file you have highlighted in blue is indeed the game exe which by double clicking on it you should be able to play straight from there…you don’t have to extract it to a folder if you don’t wish to as it doesn’t require an installer.

          • hello, I have the same issue. Turned off my antivirus, extracted the folder, ran the app as admin but it doesn’t launch properly 🙁 . I see that it’s trying to but nothing opens. I love those games

          • Yes mine tries and then just stops and nothing. It is hard to wait when a great sequel comes out ?

          • Hi B A…maybe try right clicking game icon & scroll down to Properties, choose Compatibility…either run the troubleshooter or choose a setting & tick run as Admin. Just for the record I don’t advise to completely turn off your Anti-V…clearing your browser data & cache before downloading again can help sometimes help too.

          • Thank you for your help! The double click is not doing its job this time. I tried downloading twice and the same result. I turned off my anti v to see and it was the same.

          • I don’t know what to tell you Sabrina sorry it could be a graphics driver issue or missing updates or there is something going wrong during the download. I run W10 64bit.
            Can you extract the whole folder without opening it & sending it to a C drive games folder & try trouble shooting Compatibility Mode?

          • I think that you are far more knowledgable about this than I. I do not see what you mean by running as admin. I do not know anything about extraction except double clicking in WinRar. I have been downloading from this site for many years and it just is not working the same as it used to. I do appreciate your attempt at helping. You are a star ?

    • The game refuses to start with my native screen resolution. I have to set it to 16:9 for it to start. That might also be your problem.

    • It’s missing the file “api-ms-win-downlevel-shlwapi-l1-1-0.dll”. I grabbed it from the Roads of Rome 8 – Portals 2 and it seems to work.

    • yes you can! you don’t need these flowers. There are a Quarry and a Brewery where you can get your resources. It’s a bit annoying these flowers but you can finish.

      (btw, I just saw that in the small screen these flowers do work! Only with full screen it doesn’t)
